Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts is committed to creating a sustainable future through the efficient use of resources. The company is committed to the conservation, preservation, and restoration of island biodiversity. Green Globe Certification has been awarded to six resorts, OZEN RESERVE BOLIFUSHI, OZEN LIFE MAADHOO, Atmosphere Kanifushi, OBLU SELECT Sangeli, VARU By Atmosphere, and OBLU NATURE Helengeli. All resorts have been managed sustainably from the very beginning, and considerable steps have been taken to minimise the impact that operating the resorts has on the environment. For example, all resorts use glass bottles for drinking water, which is processed in the resort's facilities. Solar Energy Plastic straws are banned and floating solar panels - currently only at OZEN LIFE MAADHOO - produce electricity to power the resort.
